To commemorate the 45th anniversary of the People's Police Academy's founding and the 123rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, a delegation of officers and students from the People's Police Academy made a pilgrimage to Nghe An province to offer incense and flowers at the Kim Lien historical site and the memorial house of the late Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc Hoan. They also organized charitable activities and cultural exchanges in Kim Lien, Nam Dan district. Major General, Professor, and Doctor Nguyen Xuan Yem, Director of the People's Police Academy, led the delegation.

They also organized charitable activities and cultural exchanges in Kim Lien, Nam Dan district. On May 10th, the delegation offered incense and flowers at the Kim Lien historical site, visiting President Ho Chi Minh's paternal and maternal hometowns. There, Major General, Professor, and Doctor Nguyen Xuan Yem, Director of the People's Police Academy, signed the commemorative guest book, pledging collective unity and solidarity in implementing the six teachings of President Ho Chi Minh for the People's Police, and in building and developing the People's Police Academy into a key institution of the People's Police force and the nation. Following this, the delegation visited the Memorial House of the late Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc Hoan in Nam Trung commune, Nam Dan district, offering incense and flowers and donating 5 million VND.

On the same day, a delegation of police officers and trainees visited and presented gifts to two families: Mrs. Nguyen Thi Chau, the mother of a fallen soldier, and Mrs. Vo Thi Tinh, the wife of a fallen soldier, in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, who are facing difficult circumstances.

At the Kim Lien Commune Cultural Center, a delegation of officers and students from the Police Academy held a cultural exchange with the youth delegations of the Nghe An Provincial Police, the Nam Dan District Police, and the Kim Lien Commune Police. A large number of local residents enjoyed the special cultural performances.

During their visit to President Ho Chi Minh's hometown this May, the leaders of the People's Police Academy affirmed that these activities contribute to educating about patriotic and revolutionary traditions, helping each officer, teacher, staff member, and student gain a deeper understanding of the life, background, and career of President Ho Chi Minh, as well as the content and meaning of the six teachings of President Ho Chi Minh to the People's Police, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm to help officers and soldiers successfully complete their assigned tasks. Also during this trip, the People's Police Academy donated 30 stone benches worth 30 million VND to the Kim Lien historical site, 20 million VND to families with particularly difficult circumstances in the district, and 5 million VND to the Memorial House of the late Minister Tran Quoc Hoan.
