On October 30, the Investigation Police Agency (Nghi Loc District Police) issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute the accused: Phung Ba Dung (born in 1974), Phung Ba Vien (born in 1978), all residing in Nghi Thu ward (Cua Lo town), Pham Kim Dung (born in 1969), Vo Van Giang (born in 1977), Nguyen Van Chien (born in 1974) and Tran Huu Tao (born in 1981), all residing in Nghi Thach commune (Nghi Loc district) for gambling.

Earlier, late at night on October 24, Nghi Loc District Police received a report from the public: At Mr. D's house in Hamlet 1, Nghi Thach Commune, a number of people were gambling. The working group of the Criminal Investigation Team on Crimes - Economics - Drugs (Nghi Loc District Police) immediately approached the scene.
At 0:15 on October 25, the authorities raided the house and caught the six individuals red-handed gambling in the form of poker. The seized evidence included 7.36 million VND on the gambling mat, a deck of cards, and 3 motorbikes.
Currently, the case is being further investigated by the authorities.
