(Baonghean.vn) - This afternoon, October 26th, the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command held a conference for self-criticism and criticism in accordance with Resolution No. 4 of the 11th Central Committee. Attending the conference were Major General Vo Van Viet - Secretary of the Party Committee of Military Region 4, and members of the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command. Comrade Phan Dinh Trac – Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, attended and directed the conference.

Comrade Phan Đình Trạc delivered a speech at the conference.

In his directive speech at the Conference, Comrade Phan Dinh Trac emphasized that at this time, the self-criticism and criticism review in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee is being carried out urgently at all levels, sectors, and localities. The Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command is one of the units that needs to conduct self-criticism and criticism seriously and exemplarily. He also requested that the Party Committee, during the review process, thoroughly understand the principles of self-criticism and criticism, in which self-criticism must be sincere, serious, and frank, and criticism must be appropriate, combative, and constructive, avoiding superficiality and vagueness.

The review must adhere to the three points outlined in Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee, clarifying the causes and responsibilities of the collective leadership and individuals. If serious violations are found and there is no voluntary self-criticism, serious action must be taken. With a spirit of frankness, responsibility, openness, democracy, and honesty, facing the truth directly, without avoidance or favoritism, we must acknowledge our strengths and weaknesses, and on that basis, propose policies and solutions for improvement in the future.

At the conference, the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command conducted a self-criticism and criticism session, ensuring honesty, constructiveness, and acceptance of all three contents mentioned in Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (11th Congress). The review revealed that the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command has fostered a spirit of creativity and boldness among its cadres and party members, focusing on leadership and guidance to improve the quality of political education at the grassroots level, and promptly providing ideological and public opinion guidance on sensitive and pressing issues. It has directed grassroots party committees, branches, and professional agencies to closely monitor and manage the internal political situation, combat "peaceful evolution," the plot to "depoliticize the military," and activities that exploit religion to undermine vigilance and lead to ideological and moral degradation among cadres and party members.

Colonel Bui Hoai Thanh - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command - read the self-criticism and criticism report of the Provincial Military Party Committee.

The review also revealed that some officers lacked concrete opinions, were hesitant to fight for what they could, and were unwilling to take responsibility, resulting in low performance and negatively impacting the unit's overall development. Specifically, in 2010, the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command disciplined 10 cases, in 2011 17 cases, and in 2012 2 cases. During the review process, the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command fully accepted and addressed the contributions of the collective and individuals involved with a constructive, frank, and honest spirit, without covering up, avoiding, or concealing shortcomings. This garnered strong support from the Party committees, government, departments, mass organizations at all levels, and the people in the area.
