The Party Committee of the 4th Military Region Headquarters held a competition for outstanding Party branch secretaries.

(Baonghean.vn) -On August 28th, the Party Committee of the 4th Military Region Headquarters organized the 2013 Branch Secretary Competition. 53 contestants, including branch secretaries from grassroots units and branches directly under the grassroots Party Committees and departmental Party Committees within the Party Committee of the 4th Military Region Headquarters, participated in the competition.

The contestants underwent two parts of the competition: one focusing on knowledge and the other on practical skills. The knowledge section focused on Party work for branch secretaries; resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, the principles of Party building according to the perspective of the 11th National Party Congress; directives, regulations, and guidelines of the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Central Military Commission on Party organization in the People's Army, Party building, Party inspection, supervision, and discipline; the implementation of Resolution No. 4 (11th Congress); and the continued promotion of studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh. The practical part involved drafting comprehensive leadership resolutions for each quarter and month of the Party branch, and developing a plan for implementing the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's moral example within their respective branches.

Colonel Nguyen Huu Truyen – Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Staff Department - Deputy Chief of Staff of the Military Region, presented awards to the contestants.

The organizing committee awarded 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 3 consolation prizes to the winning contestants; 12 comrades were awarded certificates for achieving excellent results in the competition.
