The Provincial Party Committee of Agencies deploys tasks for 2021

On the afternoon of January 14, the Provincial Agencies Party Committee held a conference to review Party building work in 2020 and deploy tasks for 2021.

Complete political tasks well

Party Committee of Provincial AgenciesThere are 64 party organizations. In 2020, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc promoted its role as the political core, actively and proactively leading cadres and party members of agencies and units to advise the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to lead and direct the successful implementation of socio-economic, national defense and security tasks, Party building, and political system building. Successfully directed and organized the grassroots Party Congress and the Party Committee of the Bloc for the 2020-2025 term.

There have been many innovations in the work of Party organization and building. Party committee and cell activities have become regular; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots party organizations and party cadres have been gradually improved. During the year, 152 new party members were admitted.

The Party Committee has completed the review and supplementation of the planning of Party committees at all levels. Implemented well.Directive 05of the Politburo (12th tenure) and the 2020 theme associated with the implementation of Central Resolution 4 (12th tenure) and regulations on exemplary responsibility.

The inspection, supervision and disciplinary work within the Party by the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc has been directed, organized and implemented seriously, resolutely, comprehensively and with high quality.

The 2-level Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc inspected 164 party organizations on the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks; inspected 138 party organizations. Thereby, 4 party members were disciplined, 4 party members and 1 committee member who violated the law were suspended from party activities.

In addition, the Party Committee continues to maintain and replicate good models, good practices, proactive and creative in helping poor communes in Western Nghe An, "Tet for the poor"; gratitude activities, support for Covid-19 prevention, support for people in the Central region to overcome the consequences of floods and natural disasters... The total fund mobilized for social security activities of the Party Committee of the bloc is nearly 25 billion VND.

At the same time, effectively direct the implementation of the movement of civil servants and public employees to build cultural agencies and units; improve the quality of activities of mass organizations; innovate and actively apply information technology in leadership, direction, operation and party administration.

At the conference, representatives of party organizations exchanged and discussed the following contents: Party leadership in implementing political tasks; advising and assisting the Provincial People's Committee in performing the state management function on planning and investment, socio-economic development plans;

The role of the Party in leading and directing digital transformation activities, contributing to administrative reform in the health sector; innovating methods in party building, leading the implementation of political tasks and improving the quality of life of Party committees and Party cells; implementing regulations on setting examples in conjunction with Directive 05 and Resolution 4 of the 12th Central Committee; Innovating the dissemination of Resolutions, applying information technology...

Promote the responsibility of leaders in administrative reform work

Speaking at the conference,Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trungacknowledged and appreciated the very important contributions of the units in the Provincial Agencies Bloc to the overall results of the province in 2020.

As the Party Committee leading the provincial agencies, the Party Committee of the Block always innovates and thinks to find the core and key content to focus on leading implementation. The coordination between the Party Committee of the Block and the agencies is very good, clear, specific, practical and effective. The Party Committee creates changes in the work of building and rectifying the Party.

In addition to the achieved results, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee pointed out the shortcomings that the Party Committee of the Bloc needs to overcome in the coming time, namely: In some units in the Party Committee of the Bloc, the leadership of political tasks and advisory work are still limited; there is still a situation of avoidance and lack of responsibility.

There has been progress in administrative procedure reform but it is still slow, with many complaints from the people and businesses. The exemplary role of officials and leaders, the responsibility of officials and civil servants in their work is not really serious; there are still cases of officials causing trouble and harassment for businesses and investors. Criticism and self-criticism, especially of leaders, are not high.

Deploying tasks, according to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung, in 2021, it is forecasted that there will be many difficulties and challenges. The province must carry out many tasks at the same time, along with focusing on socio-economic development, implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, electing the National Assembly, People's Council, etc. That requires each agency, cadre, party member, especially the leader, to have high determination, great efforts and actions to achieve the set goals.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung suggested that the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc should pay attention to comprehensively leading the Party building work in depth, selecting key and central issues.

“In 2021, the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies needs to promote the responsibility of leaders in administrative reform, especially administrative procedure reform; focus on removing obstacles and bottlenecks in administrative reform according to the motto: fast, correct, effective; so that when Party and State leaders come to Nghe An, they will evaluate: Nghe An province is open, departments are open and districts are also open” - the head of Nghe An provincial government emphasized.

The Party Committee of the Bloc also needs to promote its role in searching, training, and fostering cadres, finding capable, qualified people with good ethics to introduce and prioritize placement in important positions; eliminating the situation of "warm positions" among cadres and civil servants.

At the same time, strengthen inspection and supervision work, improve discipline, and strictly handle cases of violations and wrongdoing by officials.

On this occasion, the President presented the Second Class Labor Medal to Comrade Hoang Van Nhien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee; and the Third Class Labor Medal to Comrade Le Thi Hong Khanh - Head of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee.
