Nghe An Business Bloc Party Committee organizes the program 'Tet Sum Vay - Connecting Love' 2024

On the morning of January 27, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc coordinated to organize the program "Tet sum vay - Spring of love connection in 2024", giving gifts to workers in especially difficult circumstances in enterprises with Party organizations under the Party Committee of the Bloc.

The program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Connecting Love" is a traditional humane activity of the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee every time Tet comes, Spring comes to share and encourage workers and laborers in difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the opening of the program, comrade Ngo Dinh Vien - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc reported on the outstanding results in implementing the political tasks of the entire Party Committee in the past year. Accordingly, in 2023, although the enterprises under the Party Committee of the Bloc faced many difficulties, with the attention of all levels and sectors, the entire Party Committee of the Bloc was determined to unite, overcome difficulties, be proactive, creative, and complete the political tasks well; achieving remarkable results. Accordingly, the total revenue of the whole Bloc reached over 50,757 billion VND; an increase of 5.14% compared to 2022; export turnover reached over 369 million USD, accounting for nearly 12.81% of the whole province.

In addition to production and business, enterprises under the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee also actively participate in social security activities, demonstrating high responsibility to the community; becoming a cultural beauty of enterprises. Over the past year, the entire Bloc has mobilized and donated a total value of over 50 billion VND. In particular, responding to the program "Tet for the poor in 2024" launched by the Provincial Party Secretary, units and enterprises under the Bloc Party Committee have donated over 11 billion VND.

Speaking at the program, Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the efforts of the business community under the Party Committee of the Bloc in the past year to achieve commendable production and business results and noble gestures; making important contributions to the socio-economic development of the province. In particular, social security work has always been actively responded to by businesses, and at the same time, they have always paid attention to taking good care of the implementation of policies for employees; especially employees in difficult circumstances.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee shared, encouraged, sent New Year wishes and hoped that the small meaningful gifts would help reduce difficulties for workers' families, and celebrate the traditional New Year more warmly and fully.

He also hoped that the enterprises under the Party Committee of the bloc would promote their achievements and strive to excellently complete their tasks in the coming year; at the same time, after this program, enterprises and businessmen would continue to support and help the poor with the highest spirit, together with the Party Committee and the provincial government "Joining hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind"; continue to take practical actions and contribute more positively to the province's sustainable poverty reduction work.

This year's "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Yeu Thuong" program has presented 150 gifts to disadvantaged workers, including cash and necessities; each gift is worth 1 million VND.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee conducted a lucky draw and awarded 44 gifts to workers including: 1 special prize, 3 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 16 third prizes and 20 consolation prizes; with a total prize value of more than 13 million VND./.
