Bomb attack on police vehicle in Pakistan, 30 casualties
The suicide bomber walked up to the police vehicle and detonated the bomb strapped to his body.
A bomb exploded in the center of Quetta city, Balochistan province of Pakistan on January 9, killing 7 people and injuring 23 others, Pakistani police said.

The suicide bomber walked up to the police vehicle and detonated his explosives. Five policemen and two civilians were among the dead. The death toll could rise as some are in critical condition.
Balochistan is a key link in the $57 billion economic corridor infrastructure project between China and Pakistan.
