Bombing in Nigeria's capital kills at least 21 people.

AFP, citing Nigerian police and government sources, reported that a bomb explosion on June 25 at a crowded shopping mall in Nigeria's capital, Abuja, killed at least 21 people and injured 17 others.

This brutal bombing coincided with the Nigerian national team's final group stage match of the 2014 World Cup against Argentina.

National police spokesman Frank Mba confirmed the aforementioned casualty figures and added that one person had been arrested.

Meanwhile, Nigerian government spokesman Mike Omeri confirmed that the explosion was a bombing.
