Beaten to death brother and neighbor because chicken was half a kilo short
Having just beaten his younger brother to death with a pestle because the chicken was half a kilo short, Son beat his neighbor to death for trying to stop him.
On April 9, the Criminal Police Department of Bac Giang Province Police said it was detaining Duong Minh Son (61 years old, residing in Lang Giang district) to clarify the act of murder.

According to the police, Son bought two 3 kg chickens to prepare for a memorial service. At around 11:30 on April 7, Duong Minh Cong (53 years old, Son's younger brother) asked Son to return the chickens when they weighed only 2.5 kg.Son did not agree and an argument broke out.When Cong brought the chicken to return, Son took a pestle about 80 cm long and hit his younger brother many times on the head, causing him to die on the spot.
At that time, Mr. Ha Van Tien (75 years old, from the same village) was in the house running out to stop the fight and was hit hard on the top of the head by Son. Mr. Tien was taken to the emergency room immediately but died.
