Assessing the quality of telephone transmitting and receiving stations

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 19, comrade Le Ngoc Hoa, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to a report on the implementation of the work of inspecting and evaluating the quality of mobile phone receiving and transmitting stations (BTS stations) and resolving issues related to licensing the construction of BTS stations in the province.

In the past time, the Department of Information and Communications has directed and provided detailed and specific instructions to enterprises to complete the assigned tasks of inspecting and evaluating the quality of BTS stations and preparing dossiers of BTS stations in the premises of public service agencies. Enterprises have inspected the quality of 1,449/1,603 BTS station construction works, reaching 90.4%; Completed drawings and consulted public service agencies about BTS stations in the premises of public service agencies, as a result, 123/125 stations in the premises were proposed to continue to be allowed to exploit and use, 2 stations were proposed to be relocated out of the premises of public service agencies.

However, the current reality shows that the construction of new BTS stations is still facing many difficulties, and the development speed of the BTS station system has not met the network expansion requirements of businesses.

After listening to the opinions of the delegates, Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested relevant departments and branches to establish a Working Group to conduct construction quality inspection of BTS station projects, report to the Provincial People's Committee and develop the annual operation process of the Group; Coordinate with construction enterprises and submit passive telecommunications infrastructure planning for each unit; Decentralize licensing authority to speed up the licensing process to ensure the needs of BTS station construction of enterprises; Issue relevant documents on the procedures related to BTS station construction licensing on the electronic portal of relevant units so that enterprises can accurately and quickly grasp the procedures; Assess the quality and allow continued use of BTS stations within the premises of public service agencies.
