Fishing by the river, chasing and catching a "giant" king cobra
(Baonghean.vn) - A cobra measuring more than 2 meters long and weighing nearly 3 kg was caught by Mr. Hoa while fishing on the river.
Accordingly, at around 2:00 p.m. on April 26, Mr. Vo Khanh Hoa, residing in Thuong Khanh village, Nghia Khanh commune, Nghia Dan district (Nghe An), was fishing on the Hieu river when he encountered a "giant" cobra swimming across the river. After a short chase, Mr. Hoa captured it.

According to observation, the snake is brown from the back half of its body to the tip of its tail, with unevenly sized black lines running across its abdomen, its head is gray-brown, and its belly is yellow.
Mr. Hoa said this was the first time he had caught such a big cobra. The snake weighed nearly 3 kg and was more than 2 meters long./.
