Inflicting serious injuries on someone

(Baonghean.vn) - Around 5:30 AM on June 28th, Ms. Thai Thi Thinh, residing in Hamlet 3, Vien Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, was washing clothes behind her house when she heard a dog barking fiercely. Running out, she saw a young man using a stick to beat a dog chained in front of her door. Seeing Ms. Thinh calling for help from her neighbors, the assailant repeatedly struck her arm and hip with the stick, causing her to collapse.

Ms. Thinh was waiting to complete procedures at Yen Thanh Hospital with bruises on her arms and hips.

After the villagers arrived, they found the dog had been beaten to death, Ms. Thinh lying motionless, and the perpetrator had fled. Ms. Thinh was taken to the Vien Thanh Commune Health Station for first aid and on the morning of July 29th, she was transferred to Yen Thanh Hospital for emergency treatment.

Authorities are investigating the incident.
