List of 10 outstanding young Vietnamese faces in 2023

The Council for the 2023 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces Award has selected the 10 most outstanding faces to award the 2023 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces Award and 9 Promising Young Vietnamese Faces of 2023, in 9 fields (the field of state administrative management has no nomination).

The nominations were selected in 9 fields (the field of State Administrative Management had no nominations). In particular, in the field of Scientific Research - Innovation, there were 2 nominations selected by the Council as Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces 2023.

The Outstanding and Promising Young Vietnamese Faces of 2023 are typical examples with impressive achievements, inspiring young people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, said that the country is on the path of strong development with the aspiration to build a rich, democratic, prosperous, civilized, happy Vietnam, becoming a modern, high-income industrialized country by 2045.

That aspiration cannot be realized without people to make it happen. Realizing that aspiration requires the cooperation and unanimity of all the people, including an extremely important group: the young people.

“It is very gratifying that the majority of Vietnamese youth today are very ambitious, have dreams and ambitions, have good morals, are proactive, volunteer, creative, and actively participate in socio-economic development and national defense. That is an important basis for the feasibility of the 2045 aspiration. The young faces honored today are typical faces of that generation of youth.”

According to Mr. Huy, the common point of these individuals is perseverance, diligence, seriousness, and steadfastness on the path they have chosen. Along with that is dedication, daring to act, and knowing how to apply the knowledge they have worked hard to acquire into life. “They are the ones who clearly demonstrate the statement: Knowledge is only meaningful when it is applied to life. You are the authors of many initiatives, solutions, and projects that bring practical benefits to the community, to the unit, to the country.”

Mr. Huy also sent a general message to the youth: “We all have only one life. Whether youth is brilliant or not, it is only once, it cannot be brilliant a second time. Do not let youth pass by meaninglessly. Continue to steadfastly move forward on the path you have chosen so that the brilliance of youth is a launching pad for the brilliance of life, making the Fatherland more and more beautiful.

The Central Youth Union Secretariat hopes that young people will always nurture their aspirations, set themselves a noble goal, nurture their determination and do not hesitate to act to reach their aspirations. The path to realizing their aspirations may be bumpy and full of thorns, but if we overcome them, we will achieve success. Our successes, no matter how small, will be bricks that contribute to the overall success of the whole country.
