Spanish football star wins lottery in Qatar
Xavi - The famous Spanish player won a large sum of money thanks to saving in a bank.
The Al Dana lottery was organized by Doha Bank, Qatar for savings customers. The prize for Xavi was one million riyals (Qatari currency), equivalent to about 270,000 dollars.
"I didn't expect to win. I opened an account at Doha Bank last December. I was also interested in the Al Dana lottery program after hearing the bank encouraged customers to deposit money for a chance to become a millionaire," Xavi said on August 29.

Xavi currently plays for Qatari club Al Sadd, where he is also the captain. The 37-year-old Spanish midfielder started playing for Al Sadd in 2015 after leaving Barca.
As one of the most successful players in the history of world football, Xavi has won almost every major title. The 37-year-old's achievements include eight La Liga titles and four Champions League titles.
With the Spanish national team, Xavi also won a series of important titles such as Euro 2008, 2012 and World Cup 2010. In the three tournaments that the team won, the 1.70 m tall star played a decisive role with his creative passes.
