(Baonghean.vn) -In the middle of the Cau Cau irrigation lake in Thanh An commune (Thanh Chuong district) lies an island approximately 10 hectares in size. This is a tea-growing area for local residents.
The Cau Cau irrigation reservoir, built in 1965, covers an area of 83 hectares. This project provides irrigation for approximately 700 hectares of rice paddies in the two communes of Thanh Thinh and Thanh An. Beyond its economic benefits, the Cau Cau tea plantation island has also inadvertently created a landscape that is both majestic and picturesque. It truly is a refreshing green space. Many believe that, in the future, this area could be developed into an ecotourism destination in Thanh An commune.
