Ancient peach blossom trees are brought to the streets to serve people celebrating Tet.

In mid-December, trucks carrying peach blossom trees from various provinces and cities began arriving in Vinh City to serve people celebrating Tet (Lunar New Year). This type of ornamental plant is the latest to be brought to the market.

According to those who sell peach blossom trees for Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year), compared to other ornamental plants like kumquats, pomelos, and apricot blossoms, peach blossom trees are imported the latest. The reason is that this is a specialized ornamental plant; if imported early, the hot weather will cause the flowers to bloom prematurely, reducing their value.
