“Quoc Tuan and I were both students of the first course of the University of Theatre and Cinema. I studied stage directing and Quoc Tuan studied acting (1982). We were in the same class but it wasn’t until 1995 when we worked together (Tuan played in the movie “The Little Girl by the Lake” which I directed) that we “became friends”. In our group of friends, Tuan was the one who got married late. My friends said that this guy relied on his handsome looks and many girls liked him so he was picky and had many affairs and slept alone at night. His friend’s wedding was grand and joyful, his friends were happy for their old friend who finally had a wife so they got drunk.

Then heard that Tuan has a child...

One time after Tuan took Bom to Australia for surgery, the guys finished playing tennis and went to a sidewalk pub. I asked Tuan:

- Why don't you and your husband have another baby to make Bom happy?

- No! I put all my money into curing Bom. My child will grow up like other children!

Every time Tuan took his son to Korea or Australia for medical treatment, the brothers played tennis together excitedly and wished Bom and his father good luck. Just like that, Tuan and his father went together... Then came back... Went again... Very worried about their friend, but the brothers only dared to ask about Bom's situation occasionally, only when Tuan told them about his son. Long time no see Bom. The other day I watched VTV3's "7th Wish" program and saw that Bom has grown up so much, almost as tall as Tuan's father (1m70). Watching the father and son on TV, my first impression of Bom was: he is very smart, talks humorously. When I watched and listened to Bom play the piano, I believed: Bom will be a star, the number 1 jazz pianist! He plays the piano with the style of an artist full of energy, with a warm heart...
