Extinguishing a forest fire at night in Quynh Luu
On the night of June 22, Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard coordinated with local authorities to extinguish a forest fire that occurred in the area.

At 6:00 p.m. on June 22, Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station received a report of a fire in the northeast of Ban Co Mountain, in Duc Long Village, Quynh Thuan Commune, Quynh Luu District. The unit mobilized 15 officers and soldiers, led by the Deputy Station Chief, along with fire-fighting equipment, in coordination with local authorities, people and firefighting forces. Because the forest is mainly composed of trees such as eucalyptus, acacia, and pine, which are highly flammable, firefighting was difficult.

With the efforts of the firefighting force, the fire was brought under control by 9 p.m. Initial damage was estimated at about 2.5 hectares of forest. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
