Major programs include: Sponsoring 150 houses of gratitude for the poor worth 10.5 billion VND (2020-2021), helping the poor settle down and develop production with peace of mind; sponsoring 3 flood-proof community houses worth 7.5 billion VND (2023); sponsoring ambulances for medical facilities (2022, 2023); sponsoring the wave and computer program for children worth 25 billion VND; sponsoring the construction of 100 houses of gratitude for the poor in the period 2023-2025; sponsoring social insurance and health insurance books for people in difficult circumstances worth 238 million VND (2023).

In 2023 alone, the branch mobilized officers and union members to contribute nearly 2 billion VND to organize charity and social activities. It can be said that in recent years, banks in the province have proactively coordinated with all levels and sectors and mobilized cadres and employees to contribute money and goods to support social security programs launched by the province and organizations. According to statistics from the State Bank of Nghe An province branch, responding to the call of the Provincial Party Secretary, representatives of the industry trade unions in the area have called on credit organization trade unions in the area to respond, taking advantage of the support of the Head Office to promote social security work in the area. As a result, the Nghe An banking industry has supported the social security program with an amount of more than 148 billion VND.
For many years, Agribank Nghe An branch has been one of the leading units participating in the implementation of social security work in the province with many effective activities. In 2023 alone, it promoted and mobilized employees to contribute a portion of their income from their salaries to social charity funds and gratitude funds with an amount of more than 700 million VND; with the support of the head office, the branch sponsored more than 22.5 billion VND for activities to sponsor the Nghe An Provincial Education Promotion Fund, build gratitude houses for the poor in the area, visit and give gifts to relatives of martyrs, disabled children, victims of Agent Orange, people affected by natural disasters and floods... Vietcombank Nghe An branch cooperated with the Head Office to sponsor the construction of a 3-storey school building, a physical education building, auxiliary items and school equipment for Dien Chau 5 High School with a sponsorship value of 25 billion VND. Implemented sponsorship to build houses for the poor with a total amount of 13.5 billion VND.
VietinBank Nghe An branch cooperated with the Headquarters to build houses for the poor in Nghe An province with the amount of 15 billion VND; Building the Medical Station of Xuan Lam commune - Hung Nguyen with the amount of 4,386 billion VND.
Other joint stock commercial banks in the area also actively implemented programs to give Tet gifts and build solidarity houses to help families in difficult circumstances...
