Dien Chau District Police Department urgently arrested suspect Truong Van Hieu to investigate the case.

The horrific murder occurred at 12 noon on September 5 in Hamlet 9, Dien My Commune, Dien Chau District. Mr. Truong Van Ty (born in 1948) was brutally murdered by the suspect, his son Truong Van Hieu (born in 1982).

Upon receiving information from the people, Dien My commune police immediately arrived, blocked off the scene and reported to Dien Chau district police to make a record for handling.

At the scene - the house of the deceased victim, there was also the victim's wife, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Su (born in 1956) and her son, Truong Van Hieu, with many sticks around. Collecting evidence, the Criminal Police Department of Dien Chau District Police urgently arrested suspect Truong Van Hieu to investigate the case.

It is known that Hieu is Mr. Ty's only son and was a mental patient being treated in Hanoi and just returned home on July 27.
