Heartbreaking murder cases during Tet Mau Tuat

On the afternoon of February 16 (the first day of Tet), Ho Chi Minh City police arrested Nguyen Huu Tinh, 18 years old (born January 2000), from An Giang, to investigate the murder of 5 people in the family of Mr. Mai Xuan Chinh (46 years old).

"The suspect is a worker at Mr. Chinh's welding workshop. He was arrested while hiding in Long An province and is being extradited here. We have found evidence that he is the perpetrator," said the leader of Ho Chi Minh City Police.

Tinh had just worked for Mr. Chinh for two months and attended the boss's family's New Year's Eve party on February 12. When the party ended, the other workers went home to celebrate Tet, but he stayed behind. That night, Tinh murdered the entire boss's family with a knife.

2.Murder of drinking buddy at year-end party

On the evening of February 13 (ie 28th of the Lunar New Year), at the fertilizer store in Le Loi 2 hamlet (Quang Trung commune, Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai), a year-end party was held for the drivers, assistants and workers of the store.

While sitting down to eat New Year's Eve, Nguyen Manh Tuan (27 years old, living in Thong Nhat district) and Truong Cong Phuoc had a conflict that led to a fight. At that time, Phuoc used a Thai knife to stab his opponent in the chest, causing the victim to collapse on the spot. Everyone took Tuan to the emergency room but this young man died.

After committing the crime, the suspect went to Thong Nhat District Police to surrender and confessed his actions.

3. Thugs broke into a house and beat to death a person who was sitting there wishing him a happy new year.

Accordingly, at around 5:00 p.m. on February 17 (the second day of Tet), when Mr. Phan Van C. (born in 1986, residing in hamlet 13, Hoa Hai commune, Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh) was drinking at his uncle's house living in the same hamlet, a group of about 5-6 young men carrying weapons including iron pipes, knives, and sticks suddenly rushed in to kill him.

Because of surprise and passivity, Mr. C. was beaten by the other group, causing his head to break and he fell to the ground. After killing Mr. C., the thugs fled the scene. Mr. C. was then rushed to the emergency room but did not survive.

4. A porter in Can Tho was murdered.

On the evening of February 14 (29th of Lunar New Year), Thanh An town police (Vinh Thanh district, Can Tho city) coordinated with relevant units to investigate and clarify the murder of Mr. Binh (about 58 years old).

Initial information, in the afternoon of the same day, while Mr. Binh was lying on a hammock behind a resident's house (in Phung Quoi A hamlet, Thanh An town, Vinh Thanh district, Can Tho city), a young man named Huy (over 30 years old) stabbed him in the neck with a knife. The victim died shortly thereafter.

5. Man kills lover on Valentine's Day

On February 17, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Police arrested Ngo Tuan Hien (41 years old, from Ho Chi Minh City) to investigate the act of Murder.

According to initial investigation, Hien and the 31-year-old woman have been living together as husband and wife for more than two years in a rented house near Hoa Long market, Ba Ria city. On the evening of the 29th of Tet (February 14), after a drinking session at a neighbor's house, Hien returned home and had a conflict, leading to a fight with his lover.

Hien took his motorbike and left home when his lover chased him with a knife. After taking the knife, the suspect stabbed the victim in the chest, causing his heart to rupture and he died on the spot.

6.Stabbed wife to death on New Year's Day because of "strange message" on Facebook

COn the afternoon of February 16 (the first day of Tet), Cang and his wife, Ms. D.TTTh (born in 1990), were at home in group 11, hamlet 3, Dong Thanh commune, Hoc Mon district. At this time, Cang took his wife's tablet to go online and was surprised to see intimate messages between his wife and a strange man.

Jealousy arose, Cang argued loudly with his wife and suddenly took a knife and stabbed his former lover multiple times, causing the victim to die on the spot. After committing the crime, Cang went to the police station to confess his crime.

7.9th grade student was hunted to death by gangsters

The victim's body was brought home for funeral arrangements.

On February 19, news from the Criminal Police Department of Binh Thuan Police said that they are investigating the perpetrator of the murder that occurred in Lien Huong town, Tuy Phong district on the evening of February 18.

Accordingly, at around 6:00 p.m. on February 18, Huynh Dong Do (15 years old), a 9th grade student at a middle school in Lien Huong town, was riding his motorbike to celebrate Tet when suddenly a group of young men blocked his way and attacked him with Japanese swords and machetes.

The victim was taken to Binh Thuan General Hospital for emergency treatment but died later.
