Human heads can be transplanted.
Scientists say that it is entirely possible in the future for medical science to allow surgeons to successfully transplant a head onto a human body.

According to Dr. Sergio Canavero, an Italian neurosurgeon, this technology is being perfected so that in the future it will be possible to perform procedures similar to those in the science fiction novel Frankenstein.
Currently, medical advances have not yet found a way to successfully reconnect the spinal cord to avoid paralysis from surgery. However, recently, some scientists believe that it may be possible to successfully transplant spinal cords and reduce mortality from surgery.
In 1970, American professor Robert White successfully transplanted the head of one monkey onto the body of another. Now, a team of scientists led by Dr. Canavero has proposed a similar method based on this research.
According to Dr. Canavero, performing a human head transplant surgery would require a team of 100 people working for 36 hours and would cost up to £8.5 million.
However, other experts have rejected this idea. Professor Anthony Warrens from the British Transplant Society told The Sun: "The idea of transplanting a head into a human body is currently useless and the whole hypothesis is bizarre."
Dr. Calum MacKellar from the Scottish Council said that, from a moral standpoint, such an act would be like something out of a horror movie.
