(Baonghean) - To adapt to the market, Trung Do Joint Stock Company is shifting its investment focus to producing various building materials, including granite bricks, Nam Giang roof tiles, and Hoang Mai roof tiles. Currently, the company is preparing to invest in a high-end brick and tile factory project in Zone A - Nam Cam Industrial Park, with a capacity of 8 million square meters of products per year.

Trung Do Joint Stock Company is renowned for its granite tile factory with two modern Italian-technology tile production lines in Bac Vinh Industrial Park, boasting a capacity of 3.5 million square meters per year. To date, the company consistently produces nearly 3 million square meters of tiles annually, supplying the Central Vietnam market and exporting to several other countries. Along with a shift in investment and development, the granite factory project has helped Trung Do Joint Stock Company overcome difficulties and achieve sustainable growth. Currently, its granite tiles have established a strong position and become a prominent brand in the North Central Vietnam construction materials market. Annual revenue from Trung Do granite tiles exceeds 100 billion VND, accounting for more than half of the company's total revenue.

Over the past two years, to meet the diverse needs of customers, the company has invested tens of billions of VND in installing digital tile printing lines and tile polishing machines; and innovating brick firing technology to reduce costs and product prices. Currently, on the same production line, in addition to nearly 2.5 million m2 of granite tiles per year, the company produces many new designs and products, including 1.67 million ceramic roof tiles and nearly 990,000 queen-style roof tiles. These are high-end products favored by the market.

Along with other brick and tile factories such as Nam Giang Brick and Tile Factory and Hoang Mai Brick and Tile Factory, the company's real estate projects have consistently achieved revenue growth of 20-25% for 10 consecutive years, from 2005 to the present, with profits increasing by 15.4% annually. Thanks to this, the company ensures regular employment for 835 people, with an average income of 4.5 million VND per month. In parallel with expanding its production and business scale, the company always fulfills its obligations to the state budget and ensures the rights of its employees, participating fully in social insurance contributions. Each year, the company contributes 20-30 billion VND to the provincial budget and allocates approximately 100 million VND to social and charitable activities, helping the poor and impoverished mountainous communities.

These successes provide a foundation for the company to continue investing in in-depth development in the field of building materials production. Based on market demand research and experience from the operation of the Trung Do Granite Tile Factory, the company is planning to invest in a high-end tile factory in Zone A of the Nam Cam Industrial Park, with a capacity of 8 million square meters of products per year, including 2 million square meters of ceramic tiles and 6 million square meters of granite paving tiles. The project has already been appraised and granted an investment certificate by the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Hoan, Director of Trung Do Joint Stock Company, said: "If the project is implemented, it will be one of the company's important projects, creating momentum for further development and providing more high-end construction materials to the market. For the past two years, the company has been working closely with the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board to expedite the project's implementation; actively surveying and preparing basic raw materials for the new factory; and simultaneously inviting international bids for the supply of equipment lines for the factory. Most recently, based on the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board has coordinated and worked with the Land Clearance Council of Nghi Loc district to conduct a thorough review to resolve obstacles and promptly hand over the land for the project."

According to the design, in addition to supplying high-end ceramic tiles that are in high demand and have high value for the market, the company will maximize the use of modern technology to diversify its granite tile products, gradually replacing the factory in Bac Vinh Industrial Park. The company's products will not only supply the domestic and provincial markets but also be exported to other countries. With an estimated workforce of 150 people and revenue of around 300 billion VND/year (phase 1), the project is expected to not only contribute to affirming the company's capabilities and position in the new phase but also actively contribute to job creation and income for local workers and make a significant contribution to the provincial budget.
