At the beginning of the week, the price of SJC gold increased by 30,000 VND per tael.

This morning (January 13th), the price of SJC gold is trading around 35.28 million VND per tael, an increase of 30,000 VND per tael compared to the closing price of last weekend.

At 9:00 AM, the buying price of SJC gold in Ho Chi Minh City was 35.22 million VND/ounce and the selling price was 35.28 million VND/ounce.

Similarly, DOJI Hanoi listed the buying price for SJC gold at 35.22 million VND/ounce and the selling price at 35.28 million VND/ounce.

Looking back at last week, the SJC brand had three sessions of price increases, one session of decrease, and one session of unchanged prices. The highest price of the week (January 7th) was 35.26 million VND/ounce and the lowest was 35.1 million VND/ounce.

The difference between the buying and selling prices last week remained narrow, around 60,000 VND/ounce.

Meanwhile, with a selling price of 32.56 million VND/ounce, Bao Tin Minh Chau's Thang Long Dragon gold brand maintains a buy/sell price difference of 550,000 VND/ounce, unchanged for over a month.

Globally, the opening price of gold is trading at $1,251.5 per ounce, which is about 3.4 million VND per tael lower than the domestic SJC brand.

In the domestic foreign exchange market, the average interbank exchange rate applied on January 13th was 21,036 VND/USD. The ceiling exchange rate applied to commercial banks was 21,246 VND/USD.

The highest listed selling price for USD at major commercial banks this morning was 21,115 VND/USD, while the buying price ranged from 21,065-21,075 VND/USD.

Specifically, Vietcombank and Vietinbank both listed the selling price of USD at 21,115 VND/USD and the buying price at 21,070-21,075 VND/USD, while BIDV listed the buying price at 21,070 VND/USD and the selling price at 21,110 VND/USD.
