Although it is only a trial crop, the results show that vegetable soybeans are well adapted to the soil here, the plants grow well and grow better than other soybean varieties in the locality. The plants produce a lot of fruit, with a ratio of 2 - 3 seeds/fruit reaching 90 - 95%.

As one of the households participating in the pilot planting of this model, Mr. Le Van Thuoc in village 11, Tao Son commune said: this winter crop, his family planted 3 sao of vegetable soybeans on rice land. After more than 2 months of planting, the plants grew very well, with many fruits, and an estimated yield of 3 to 3.5 quintals/sao. With a purchase price of 7 - 8 thousand VND/kg, this crop, his family will earn 7 million VND. Moreover, when the vegetable soybeans are ripe, the whole fruit will be purchased, without having to dry, thresh, and without depending on the weather like other soybean varieties, limiting many risks for farmers.

According to local people, soybeans have a short growing period, averaging about 80 days/crop, low investment costs, high productivity, and stable output. Right from the beginning of the production season, farmers in Tao Son commune have signed a commitment with Dong Giao Export Company, Tam Diep district (Ninh Binh) to purchase all products at a price of 7,700 VND - 8,000 VND/kg for export to the Japanese market.

With a yield of 3 to 3.5 quintals/sao. It is calculated that each hectare, people earn 50 million VND after 3 months.

The initial effectiveness of the soybean-vegetable export model is a good sign, helping farmers in Tao Son commune have a new crop with high economic value on the same area.
