David Luiz scores a wonder goal, Chelsea will face Benfica in the Europa League final.
There were no surprises in the Europa League semi-finals. Chelsea and Benfica, both holding the advantage from the first leg and considered the stronger team, met at the Amsterdam Arena.

Having won 2-1 in the first leg, Chelsea entered the match at Stamford Bridge with confidence against their Swiss opponents. The London team pressed Basel in the first half and created many dangerous opportunities, but the home team's strikers were ineffective in crucial situations.
With their game ineffective, Chelsea conceded the first goal in the 45th minute. Valentin Stocker played a delicate through pass to Mohamed Salah, who beat goalkeeper Petr Cech to give Basel a 1-0 lead.

In the match between Benfica and Fenerbahce, the Portuguese team opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a goal from Gaitan. However, Fenerbahce's resilience was immediately demonstrated with dangerous counter-attacks, culminating in an equalizer from Dirk Kuyt in the 23rd minute.
After conceding an equalizer, Benfica launched an attack in search of two goals to secure their place in the next round. And Oscar Cardozo became their hero with an impressive brace. Winning 3-2 on aggregate, Benfica will face Chelsea in the final match of the season.
