Promoting patriotic emulation movements in the Internal Affairs - Armed Forces Bloc
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 19, at the Provincial Inspectorate, the Internal Affairs - Armed Forces Emulation Bloc held a conference to sign emulation covenants and launch the emulation movement in 2024.
Attending the Conference were representatives of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board; leaders of units in the Emulation Bloc of Internal Affairs - Armed Forces of Nghe An province including 8 units: Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, Provincial Border Guard, Department of Justice, Provincial People's Procuracy, Provincial People's Court, Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement and Provincial Inspectorate.
In 2023, units in the Bloc focused on leading and directing the organization of emulation movements in many diverse and rich contents and forms, creating a strong change from awareness to action of cadres, civil servants and soldiers, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of professional work. Many units have had initiatives to launch emulation movements in batches and on topics associated with political events, anniversaries of major holidays of the country and the industry, creating a breakthrough in organizing the implementation of political tasks; contributing to promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security.
Through the implementation of emulation movements, many units were awarded the title of "Government Emulation Flag", emulation flag of ministries and branches and emulation flag of the Provincial People's Committee. In particular, the Provincial Police was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and the State.
Based on the achieved results, the units of the Internal Affairs - Armed Forces Bloc launched the patriotic emulation movement in 2024 with 8 contents. The focus is: Promoting the emulation movements: "Joining hands to build new rural areas"; "For the poor - Leaving no one behind"; "Implementing office culture"; "Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure and practicing thrift, fighting waste"; "Competing to successfully carry out the annual socio-economic development tasks and the 5-year plan (2021-2025) according to the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party.
Proactively grasp the situation, perform well the advisory function for the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and superiors in leadership, direction and effective implementation of assigned political tasks, according to the functions and tasks of each unit.
Focus on directing the improvement of the quality of Party building work, building clean and strong agencies, units and organizations; improving the capacity and fighting strength of Party committees and organizations and the pioneering and exemplary role of cadres and Party members in agencies and units in the bloc.
Promote administrative reform and digital transformation in areas of public service; continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management according to the functions and tasks of each sector, agency and unit.
In addition, pay attention to the work of discovering, building and replicating advanced models and examples, acting as the core in the emulation movement; strengthen close and comprehensive coordination in all aspects of work between units in the Bloc.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Head of the Emulation and Rewards Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Emulation and Rewards Council of Nghe An province acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved in directing and organizing the implementation of patriotic emulation movements of the Emulation Bloc of Internal Affairs - Armed Forces in recent years.
At the same time, it is recommended that member units in the Bloc continue to promote the organization and implementation of patriotic emulation movements associated with the implementation of assigned political tasks; develop the Bloc's operating regulations and emulation criteria closely following the practical situation; promote the organization of exchange activities, learn good and effective models and practices in implementing emulation movements in the Bloc.
At the Conference, units in the Internal Affairs Bloc - Nghe An Provincial Armed Forces signed an emulation covenant determined to excellently complete tasks, develop the patriotic emulation movement of the Bloc widely, creating motivation to successfully carry out the tasks in 2024.
