On the morning of December 26, Nghe An Newspaper held a conference on Party building work in 2021 and deployed the plan for 2022.

ReportRegarding the work in 2021 and the implementation of tasks in 2022, comrade Tran Van Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper affirmed: Nghe An Newspaper continues to maintain the identity of the mouthpiece of the Provincial Party Committee, attaching top importance to information, bringing the Party's policies and guidelines and the State's laws into life; comprehensively reflecting the socio-economic life in the area.

Nghe An Newspaper continues to promote the implementation of the operation of a converged and multimedia newsroom; tighten the publishing process; continue to innovate and improve the quality of content and form of publications.

Despite difficult working conditions, over the past year Nghe An Newspaper has organized many events, many article series, topic series, and in-depth topics.

All propaganda tasks are carried out promptly and continuously, providing information, guiding public opinion, and enhancing the combativeness on the Party's ideological and cultural front.

Regarding print newspapers, as of December 26, 2021, Nghe An Newspaper published 350 daily newspaper issues; 52 Weekend newspaper issues and the Mountainous - Ethnic supplement.

During the year, 4 special issues were published, including: New Year's issue; Tan Suu Spring issue; special issue celebrating the 91st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2021), April 30 and May 1 Anniversary issues, and the 76th National Day issue with many innovations and creativity in quality and form; while achieving good advertising and propaganda sales.

For the daily newspaper, the Weekend issue and the Mountainous - Ethnic supplement from January 1, 2021, the technical presentation department has innovated the page design, ensuring stability, consistency, and consistency in the purpose and principles of information and propaganda.

Regarding electronic newspapers: In 2021, in the context of working online due to the pandemic, but with the goal of promoting digital transformation of journalism, Nghe An Newspaper's editorial board continues to innovate content, increase interaction, invest in developing social networks to increase attractiveness, and reach more people for Nghe An electronic newspaper baonghean.vn.

Up to now, the online newspaper has 21 columns, the printed newspaper has 69 pages and columns, many new columns meet urgent requirements and tasks such as: Emulating to achieve achievements to welcome the election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels; Protecting the Party's ideological foundation; Preventing Covid-19...

In the context of social media platforms implementing technical measures to limit interaction, this is truly a great effort. Nghe An e-newspaper currently has access to 193 countries and territories. The newspaper also receives tens of thousands of comments and suggestions from readers through the comment function at the end of each article.

Nghe An Newspaper YouTube channel has grown quite well, as of November 23, 2021, there were 64,118 subscribers (an increase of 28,659 subscribers compared to the same period last year).

Currently, the Channel maintains an international commentary section (8:00 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday); 3 Good Morning episodes (Monday, Wednesday, Friday); 1 weekend story episode (8:00 p.m. Sunday). Along with that, updating video clips of current events, politics, society, law, etc. daily creates a stable propaganda channel to spread economic - social information, national defense - security, Party building and the political system of Nghe An Newspaper.

New this year, Nghe An Newspaper has launched a Podcast column (launched from November 5, 2021 and officially opened on Spotify and baonghean.vn from November 8, 2021), posting Nghe audio files about articles praising the homeland, country, and people of Nghe An.

According to the roadmap, in the near future, Podcast products will be synchronized on platforms such as YouTube, Apple Music, Google Podcast... to ensure diverse access and interaction with audiences and listeners.

In 2021, Nghe An Newspaper had 10 collectives and 24 individuals awarded Certificates of Merit of various types; won 24 press awards at the Central, local and industry levels. Notably, 1 reporter won First Prize in the National English Olympic Competition organized by the Central Youth Union.

Agreeing with the 2022 tasks proposed by Nghe An Newspaper, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies Chu Ba Long emphasized that in the context of the impact ofCovid-19 epidemic, working conditions are difficult, therefore, Nghe An Newspaper needs to continue to improve the quality of publications, spreading the brand of Nghe An Newspaper.
