(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 25, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee held a conference to disseminate Conclusion No. 107 - KL/TW dated April 10, 2015 of the Central Party Secretariat and Action Program No. 45 - Ctr/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on continuing to strengthen the Party's leadership in implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods". Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the conference.

After 5 years of implementing the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in Nghe An, some important results have been achieved. The propaganda and mobilization work has been actively participated by the entire political system, the awareness of the majority of cadres, party members and people about the Campaign has become increasingly profound, thereby changing consumer behavior towards prioritizing the use of domestically produced goods with quality, reasonable prices and promoting business development. The results of the Campaign have contributed positively to attracting investment, creating jobs for workers, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty, ensuring social security, especially awareness of consumer culture contributing to socio-economic development.

According to the report of the Department of Industry and Trade, in the past time, there have been over 19,000 promotional programs with a total promotional value of up to 200 billion VND. The Department of Industry and Trade has licensed 12 fairs and exhibitions/year in Vinh city and districts in the province with an average number of visitors of about 10,000 people/fair. Through the fairs, Vietnamese goods have been widely introduced to all people in the area and encouraged people to buy Vietnamese goods, changing people's spending habits and changing businesses' awareness of the domestic market. |
