Promoting educational cooperation between Nghe An and Gyeonggi (Korea)
(Baonghean.vn) - The delegation of Gyeonggi Provincial Council at the working session with Vietnam - Korea Technical Industry College and committed to support and connect the school with universities of Gyeonggi province, to promote educational cooperation between the two provinces.
Continuing the working program in Nghe An, on the afternoon of January 9, the delegation of Gyeonggi Provincial Council (Korea) led by Mr. Suh Hyung Ryur - Chairman of Gyeonggi - Nghe An Friendship Association offered flowers and incense at Kim Lien Relic Site, and visited and worked with the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College.

At Kim Lien Relic Site, with respect, the delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of the Party and people of Vietnam, national liberation hero, world cultural celebrity.

At the meeting with the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College, the delegation heard about the school's activities. The school is a gift from the Korean Government to Vietnam with a total investment of 12.3 million USD, and is considered by the Korean Government to be the most effective vocational training project among all projects invested by this country in the world.

More than 2,000 students of the school are working in Korea and Japan. 95% of the school's students have jobs after graduation, contributing to the socio-economic development of Nghe An.
The school not only provides vocational training but also connects and introduces investors to Vietnam and Nghe An, providing highly skilled labor for Korean enterprises in Vietnam.

Recognizing and appreciating the achievements that the school has made, Mr. Suh Hyung Ryur, Chairman of the Gyeonggi - Nghe An Friendship Association, hopes that the school will continue to promote its tradition and improve its brand quality to become an international standard vocational school.
Mr. Suh also proposed and committed that in the coming time, he will support and help the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College connect with universities and colleges of Gyeonggi province, to promote educational cooperation, as well as create a milestone in the bilateral relationship between Nghe An and Gyeonggi.
