(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 30, the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with FPT Corporation to review and plan to promote cooperation in e-Government, e-Health, education cooperation and investment in FPT office complex in Nghe An.

At the meeting, the two sides reviewed the results of the coordination in implementing the contents in the past time. The two sides agreed that investing in and applying information technology in state administrative management is very necessary, meeting the requirements and objective demands. Nghe An is one of the first localities in the country to implement the e-government project, administrative management using the IT system. However, up to now, the implementation results are still slow.

Specifically, in the first 10 months of 2015, the Provincial People's Committee and FPT Group held 5 meetings to discuss the implementation of cooperation content and concluded and assigned specific tasks to each related unit. Regarding e-government, in reality, due to limited budget, only a limited amount of funding was allocated for the implementation of HCM Egov Framework 2.0 e-government for pilot units in 2015 and 2016. The development of a service leasing plan at the Vinh City Public Administration Center has not received a satisfactory response from FPT Group.

Regarding the e-health project, the Department of Health has directed Vinh City General Hospital to coordinate with FPT Corporation to deploy the pilot application of FPT.eHospital, phase 1 of the overall hospital management software from September 2014; submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the policy to allow the preparation of technical economic reports on the construction of projects applying IT in management at 5 hospitals: Oncology, Orthopedics, Vinh City General Hospital, Thanh Chuong General Hospital, Anh Son General Hospital, etc.

Regarding training IT human resources, according to the signed program to train students to work in Japan, it was implemented in 3 phases with the goal of training 180 engineers, but in reality the results achieved were still low.

Similarly, in the IT industry, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to introduce a location for an office complex for FPT Corporation. In 2014, FPT Corporation surveyed the IT park of Nghe An province and worked with related units, but the results were not as expected.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Bui Quang Ngoc - General Director of FPT Corporation, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors acknowledged the goodwill of the People's Committee of Nghe An province in the strategic cooperation of IT - telecommunications and expressed his desire to accelerate the progress of implementing the contents. At the same time, the General Director of FPT Corporation presented a number of solutions to promote and cooperate more closely and effectively in the process of implementing the project of e-government, e-health, training of IT human resources and IT industry in Nghe An.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee requested that in order for the project to be carried out synchronously and consistently, creating favorable conditions for the locality as well as service providers, FPT Group must pay attention to speeding up the progress of the contents and coordination programs. At the same time, he requested that the agencies and departments closely and regularly coordinate with the Group to soon complete the agreed tasks.
