National Assembly deputies meet with voters in Quy Chau district.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 1, 2014,in Chau Thuan commune,National Assembly delegates including Mr. Tran Van Hang - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee; and Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region IV, met with voters in Chau Thuan, Chau Binh, Chau Thang, and Chau Tien communes (Quy Chau district).
At the conference, in light of China's illegal placement of the HD 981 oil rig in Vietnam's exclusive economic zone and continental shelf in the East Sea, voters expressed great concern and a desire to learn more about Vietnam's policies and solutions in response to China's blatant violations.
In addition, voters suggested that all levels of government and relevant agencies should increase investment in local infrastructure to serve the needs of the people. They also proposed the redistribution of agricultural land and the construction of irrigation canals to support production. A matter of great concern to voters was finding solutions to provide employment for students after graduating from educational institutions.
The National Assembly deputies directly responded to the opinions and suggestions of the voters. The suggestions of the voters will be compiled by the delegation and forwarded to the relevant functional agencies and the National Assembly.
