National Assembly deputies meet with voters in Quy Hop district and Thai Hoa town.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 2nd,at Quy Hop town,National Assembly delegates, including Mr. Tran Van Hang - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee; and Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region IV, met with voters, including officials, civil servants, and employees of agencies and departments in Quy Hop district and the people of Quy Hop town.

At the conference, voters in Quy Hop district made suggestions regarding the recruitment of civil servants, emphasizing the need to prioritize children of ethnic minorities and those from disadvantaged backgrounds; they also requested that the government increase investment in infrastructure and medical equipment for commune-level health stations in remote areas, and attract doctors to work in these localities to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, and to provide better access to healthcare for the people.

National Assembly Deputy Tran Van Hang directly answered voters' requests; at the same time, he provided voters with a general overview of the socio-economic situation of our country in the past period; the situation in the East Sea as well as the reasons why the National Assembly has not yet approved the amendments and supplements to Resolution 35 on taking votes of confidence and no-confidence votes for positions elected or approved by the National Assembly or People's Councils in the 7th session.

Later that afternoon, continuing the program of meeting with constituents after the 7th session of the 13th National Assembly, National Assembly deputies continued to meet with constituents who are key officials of agencies, departments, and wards and communes of Thai Hoa town.

Opening the meeting, delegate Nguyen Sy Hoi informed the voters about the results of the 7th session of the 13th National Assembly. In a spirit of serious and highly responsible work, the National Assembly passed 11 laws, 2 resolutions, and provided opinions on 16 draft laws. During the meeting, voters in Thai Hoa town raised concerns about why the National Assembly had not yet approved the amendment and supplementation of Resolution No. 35 of the National Assembly on taking votes of confidence and no-confidence votes for those holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly and People's Councils.

Responding to voters' opinions on this issue, Representative Tran Van Hang stated that, during discussions, National Assembly representatives still had differing opinions on several points, focusing on regulations regarding the timeframe, timing of the vote, and the level of confidence. Because this is a crucial issue, the National Assembly has assigned the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and relevant agencies and organizations to continue gathering opinions to finalize the draft Resolution 35 for consideration at the next session. Representative Tran Van Hang also informed voters about the situation in the East Sea following China's illegal placement of the HD 981 oil rig in Vietnam's exclusive economic zone and continental shelf; and outlined Vietnam's stance, position, and solutions to counter China's outrageous actions.
