National Assembly Deputies meet voters of Quy Hop district, Thai Hoa town
(Baonghean.vn) - Morning of July 2,at Quy Hop Town,National Assembly delegates including Mr. Tran Van Hang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee; Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region IV met with voters who are cadres, civil servants, and public employees of agencies and departments of Quy Hop district and people of Quy Hop town.
At the conference, voters of Quy Hop district made recommendations on the recruitment of civil servants, which should give priority to children of ethnic minorities and children of policy beneficiaries; the State should increase investment in commune-level health stations in remote areas in terms of facilities and medical equipment, and attract doctors to work in these localities to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, and to provide better services and conditions for people to receive better treatment.
National Assembly Deputy Tran Van Hang directly responded to voters' petitions; at the same time, he provided voters with general information about the socio-economic situation of our country in recent times; the situation in the East Sea as well as the reason why the National Assembly has not yet approved the content of amending and supplementing Resolution 35 on taking a vote of confidence, voting for the positions elected or approved by the National Assembly or People's Councils in the recent 7th session.
In the afternoon of the same day, continuing the program of meeting voters after the 7th session of the 13th National Assembly, National Assembly deputies continued to meet voters who are key officials of agencies, departments, and wards and communes of Thai Hoa Town.
At the beginning of the conference, delegate Nguyen Sy Hoi informed voters of the results of the 7th session of the 13th National Assembly. In the spirit of serious work and high responsibility, the National Assembly passed 11 laws, 2 resolutions and gave opinions on 16 draft laws. At the meeting, voters of Thai Hoa Town raised concerns about the reason why the National Assembly has not yet approved the amendment and supplement to Resolution No. 35 of the National Assembly on taking a vote of confidence and voting for people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly and the People's Council.
Responding to voters' opinions on this issue, delegate Tran Van Hang said that through discussion, National Assembly delegates still had different opinions on a number of contents, focusing on the regulations on time limits, voting time and level of confidence. Because this is an important issue, the National Assembly assigned the National Assembly Standing Committee and relevant agencies and organizations to continue collecting opinions to complete the draft Resolution 35 to submit to the National Assembly for consideration at the next session. Delegate Tran Van Hang also informed voters about the situation in the East Sea when China illegally placed the HD 981 drilling rig in our country's exclusive economic zone and continental shelf; at the same time, stated Vietnam's viewpoint, stance and solutions to fight against China's arrogant actions./.
