Carry out good preparations before the Congress

At the conference, on behalf of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, comrade Le Van Luong - Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union reported on the preparations for the 18th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghe An province, term 2022 - 2027. Accordingly, the Congress is expected to be held in 2 days, from October 2-3, 2022. The total number of delegates attending the Congress is 450 delegates.

The political report of the congress consists of two parts. Accordingly, the first part evaluates the results of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Youth Union Congress for the 2017-2022 term, the second part on the goals, directions, tasks and solutions for the 2022-2027 term.

Regarding the personnel preparation for the Congress, up to now, the Executive Committee of the 17th Provincial Youth Union has taken steps to develop a Project for allocating delegates; develop Projects for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of the 18th Provincial Youth Union, and has fully implemented the personnel procedures according to regulations.

In preparation for the Congress, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has issued a propaganda plan, coordinating with media agencies to promote propaganda work before, during and after the Congress. At the same time, consolidate, improve and promote the role of the team of reporters and propagandists in providing timely and oriented information about the Youth Union Congresses at all levels to union members and youth before, during and after the Congress. Timely grasp the thoughts, aspirations and comments of union members, youth and society on the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement to study and absorb in the process of building documents and organizing the Congress.

From the Central Youth Union, delegates highly appreciated the preparations for the Congress of Nghe An, demonstrating the high sense of responsibility of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union. In particular, the political report was seriously prepared, closely following the local practical situation. The basic tasks closely followed the political report of the National Youth Union Congress and the Resolution of the 19th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025. Propaganda work had many new points and followed the entire process before, during and after the congress.

However, to complete the political report, it is necessary to study and supplement some documents and information related to volunteer work, union work, inspection, supervision, and support for youth in starting and establishing businesses of the whole province to ensure objective assessment of these works. Strive to select a team of capable and courageous Youth Union officials.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong highly appreciated the preparation work of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union before the Congress. From directing the grassroots congress, completing documents and preparing logistics, personnel, and propaganda, all were carried out methodically. In particular, the political report was highly appreciated by the Standing Provincial Party Committee, which was consistent with the practical situation of Nghe An in the new situation.

Personnel work is considered the core work of the Congress, so from the beginning, the Party Committee has closely followed each position and structure in each locality and field to ensure standards and conditions and build a team of capable and courageous Youth Union cadres, trained and cultivated through practice.

He requested the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee to seriously absorb the comments on the preparation for the Congress. Proceed to edit and adjust some contents according to the orientation of the members of the working delegation and expressed the hope that the 18th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghe An province, term 2022 - 2027 will be a great festival for the youth of Nghe An province.

Concluding the conference, comrade Ngo Van Cuong - Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee of the Youth Union acknowledged and highly appreciated the preparation work of the Congress of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union. In order to improve this work, he requested the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union to, based on the actual situation of the province, absorb the comments of the working group members and promptly revise the mentioned contents. In particular, focus on propaganda work, diversify propaganda forms to widely spread the spirit of the Congress among all classes of people, union members and youth.
