To make Ngu Island 'turn into a dragon'...
(Baonghean) - Right from the time of surveying and establishing the investment project "Lan Chau - Song Ngu Eco-tourism and Resort Complex", Mr. Tran Quoc Lam, Chairman of the Board of Directors, was fascinated by the natural beauty of this pristine island.
Here, all year round, the sea water is clear and the flora and fauna on the island are very diverse. Therefore, Song Ngu Son Joint Stock Company decided to invest in the project according to the idea of "Song Ngu turning into a dragon" landscape design, with a large ratio of trees and water surface, forming ecological areas and basic tourist complex structures in the trend of developing global eco-tourism. At the same time, building restaurants and resorts to ensure the promotion of national cultural values associated with entertainment areas and eco-tourism.
To implement this idea, immediately after being licensed, Song Ngu Son Joint Stock Company went to the mountainous districts, bought the best wooden stilt houses to build on Ngu Island, both to beautify the island and to serve tourists. Right in the first days of 2015, the company bought 3 stilt houses in Tuong Duong and Con Cuong districts and hired a team of skilled Thai workers to build the houses on the island. According to Mr. Lam, stilt houses built as restaurants and motels on Ngu Island will ensure harmony with nature, be a national cultural feature that beautifies the pristine island, and will reduce humidity for tourists staying on the 2nd floor during vacations outside of the summer.

Mr. Cuong, who spent nearly 15 years here as an officer commanding troops guarding the islands, has now retired and is participating with Song Ngu Son Joint Stock Company in building Ngu Island into an eco-tourism destination. Mr. Cuong excitedly shared: “If in the past, my duty was to be a soldier keeping the islands peaceful, now I am really excited to participate in the construction, beautifying the island to welcome visitors. I myself have thousands of days on the island, but I am always eager for new projects. The island will be more beautiful in the near future…”.

Currently, the company is closely coordinating with local authorities and functional departments to continue to promote the completion of administrative procedures to carry out items such as building a cable car across the sea to Ngu Island and project works on the island.
To complete the overall project, it will take many years of construction, but for now, every year, Song Ngu Son Joint Stock Company will both build and serve tourists to the island. Throughout that process, the company adheres to the goal of keeping the ecological environment of the island green. In that direction, right in the summer sea tourism season of 2015, the company will complete the connection of restaurants with fresh seafood dishes on Ngu Island to serve tourists. These are works that decorate the island, where tourists can enjoy delicious dishes from the sea and enjoy the fresh air from the sea of their homeland...
