Proposing village and commune cadres to share the budget burden
(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the reflection that the allowance for village cadres is too low, a National Assembly delegate said that the national budget is limited and suggested that cadres share this burden.
On the afternoon of August 9, National Assembly deputies including Mr. Le Quang Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Nguyen Huu Cau, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Director of Nghe An Provincial Police, had a meeting with voters in the mountainous district of Tuong Duong.

The conference listened to delegate Le Quang Huy's summary report on the results of the first session of the 14th National Assembly.
After listening to the delegate's presentation, voter Lo Kham Lien (Hoa Binh town) asked why two newly elected National Assembly delegates were dismissed; "How will the National Assembly handle the violations at Formosa?" is also an issue Mr. Lien wanted the delegate to explain clearly.

In addition, voter Lien suggested that the salary and allowance regime for village-level officials is still low: "A day at the district level is more than a month's salary for village-level officials. The salary for this level should be increased," said Mr. Lien.
Voter Pham Ai Hong, President of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers, reflected on the many shortcomings in the payment and policy subsidies for meritorious people.
These reflections were then thoroughly explained by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district and promised to resolve the problems. Regarding the question of the subsidy for village and commune-level cadres being too low, delegate Nguyen Huu Cau said that currently the budget is still limited, public debt is very high, so "Cadres must know how to share the common burden and common difficulties. In the past, many cadres went to work without any subsidy, now our country is better but it is still difficult. We must overcome to complete our tasks well."
