(Baonghean.vn) - The Military Region 4 Command has just issued an official dispatch requesting departments, branches, organizations, and localities not to give flowers or gifts on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

According to the content of Official Dispatch No. 2460/BTL-CCT, the Military Region 4 Command requested that departments, branches, organizations, and people in localities not give flowers or gifts to congratulate officers and soldiers of agencies and units of the armed forces of Military Region IV on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 28th anniversary of the National Defense Day.

Implementing the direction of the Military Region 4 Command, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Official Dispatch No. 9802/UBND-NC dated December 16, 2017 on not giving flowers and gifts on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 28th anniversary of the National Defense Day.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Nghe An province reported to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, and notified the Provincial Party Committee Office, Party committees under the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and relevant departments and branches about the direction of the Commander of Military Region 4 and not to organize visits and give gifts to military units stationed in the province.
