Prosecution recommended for 2 individuals who stole dogs using a homemade gun.
(Baonghean.vn) - On July 6, 2015, the Nam Dan District Police concluded the criminal case against the following individuals: Phan Nguyen Truc (Hamlet 2, Hung Dao Commune, Hung Nguyen District) and Tran To Nguyen (Hamlet 11, Nghi Trung Commune, Nghi Loc District) for the crime of "theft of property".

According to the investigation's conclusions: At approximately 11:30 PM on May 22, 2015, Tran To Nguyen called Phan Nguyen Truc to steal dogs. Both used a borrowed Sirius motorcycle with license plate 37K1-636... to carry out the crime. Evidence included: 1 homemade electric stun gun, 1 wooden arrow with an iron tip connected to an electrical wire, 5 rolls of black adhesive tape, and 1 sack.

Afterward, they moved along National Highway 46 towards Hung Nguyen - Nam Dan. When they spotted a "target," they approached within about 3 meters, activated an electric shock device (connected to a motorbike battery), and shot directly at the dog. Upon impact, the dog was electrocuted and fainted on the spot. They then used tape to tightly seal the dog's mouth and put it into a sack. Using this method, Truc and Nguyen captured five dogs in the communes of Xuan Hoa, Nam Linh, Kim Lien, Nam Giang (Nam Dan district) and Hung Chinh commune (Vinh City). Because the sack was full, after catching the fifth dog in Hung Chinh commune, Nguyen had to carry the dog outside. Upon reaching Vinh City, noticing the pursuit by the Mobile Police Force (Nghe An Provincial Police), Nguyen dropped the dog he was carrying onto the road and fled. The two suspects were apprehended by the Mobile Police Force on Phan Dinh Phung Street (Vinh City). The PC 65 unit has drawn up a report and handed over the suspects to the Criminal Investigation Department of the Nam Dan District Police for investigation and handling according to the law.

On July 6th, the Nam Dan District Police completed their investigation and transferred the entire case file to the Nam Dan District People's Procuracy. They also requested the Procuracy to prosecute Phan Nguyen Truc and Tran To Nguyen for the crime of "theft of property".
