Proposal to prosecute former head of water supply and drainage management board and 2 employees
The police have completed the file and transferred the case of embezzlement of assets at the Water Supply and Drainage Management Board of Tay Son district (Binh Dinh) to the People's Procuracy at the same level to propose prosecuting the defendants.
In 2021, the authorities of Binh Dinh province inspected and discovered serious violations in financial management at the Tay Son District Water Supply and Drainage Management Board, with the amount of violations exceeding 1 billion VND. The violations include: spending without documents and not going through accounting books for more than 290 million VND; employees of this Management Board collected water bills from customers but did not deposit nearly 750 million VND into the fund... Realizing that the case had signs of violations, it was transferred to the Tay Son District Police for investigation and handling according to authority.

In May 2021, Tay Son District Police initiated a case, prosecuting Ms. Ho Thi Cam Le, a water bill collector at Tay Son District Water Supply and Drainage Management Board, for embezzlement. The police determined that Ms. Le embezzled VND 584 million.
Then, in February 2022, the case was transferred to the Investigation Police Agency - Binh Dinh Provincial Police for further investigation and clarification. In the process of consolidating the case file, Binh Dinh Provincial Police continued to prosecute Mr. Cao Van Chuyen, Head of the Accounting Team of the Tay Son District Water Supply and Drainage Management Board for embezzlement; Prosecuted Mr. Do Thanh Xuan, former Head of the Tay Son District Water Supply and Drainage Management Board for irresponsibility causing serious consequences./.
