Proposal to discipline 5 leaders with signs of violations

On October 5, the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission held its 10th session to review and give conclusions on the results of inspections of a number of party members and officials who showed signs of violations.

Accordingly, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission has reviewed and concluded that Mr. Huynh Minh Hoang, Party Cell Secretary and Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Bac Lieu province, had shortcomings and violations in implementing the principle of democratic centralism, working regulations and in leading and directing the implementation of management of projects and scientific topics in the province.

The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission proposed that the competent Party organization review and take disciplinary action against Mr. Hoang.

In the case of Mr. Nguyen Hong Quan, former member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, former Head of the People's Mobilization Committee of Phuoc Long District Party Committee, due to lack of exemplary behavior, intentionally violating the law; taking advantage of his position and authority to illegally build houses on public land, causing bad public opinion among the people.

The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission requested competent authorities to review and discipline Mr. Nguyen Hong Quan according to procedures.

The Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission also reviewed the results of the investigation, verification and settlement of the denunciation against Mr. Lam Quyet Thang, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, reviewed the results of the financial inspection of the Standing Committee of the Dong Hai District Party Committee; reviewed the decision to impose party discipline on Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam, Secretary of the Party Committee of Phong Tan Commune, Gia Rai Town, for violating the use of illegal qualifications.

Regarding Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, member of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Loi District, the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission concluded that Mr. Khoi had shortcomings and violations in leading and directing the implementation of personnel work and using social security funds; illegally building houses on public land, causing negative public opinion within the Party and among the people. The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission unanimously proposed to conduct a review with disciplinary action against Mr. Khoi for the above violations.
