On the other hand, some people also think that this information was given to "calm down" public opinion surrounding the widespread crop failure of BC15 rice variety in the last winter-spring crop.

Recently, did Thai Binh Seed Company support Nghe An province with 250 tons of BC15 rice seeds (150 tons for the 2013 summer-autumn crop and 150 tons for the 2014 winter-spring crop) to compensate for farmers' losses? In our opinion, support with rice seeds is not satisfactory, but should be supported with money. Because support with rice seeds leaves farmers with no other choice, almost forcing farmers to continue using the company's seeds. If this summer-autumn crop and next winter-spring crop encounter unfavorable weather conditions, resulting in crop failure with BC15 seeds, it would be extremely dangerous.
