Go to your friend's house to play, sneak into your friend's room to 'steal' your mother's gold
At the police station, Tran Hong Phat admitted to breaking into his classmate's mother's room twice to steal jewelry and sell it for money.
On October 11, Cai Rang Ward Police (Can Tho City) said they had just quickly discovered a jewelry theft in the area with property damage of over 200 million VND.
Accordingly, at 10:00 a.m. on October 10, Cai Rang Ward Police received a report from Ms. TXH (born in 1981, residing in Residential Area Cong Cong 8, Cai Rang Ward, Can Tho City) about the theft of property, including: 1 bracelet, 1 pair of earrings, 1 bracelet, 1 necklace, a gold ring, 2 million VND, with a total value of lost property of over 200 million VND.
Cai Rang Ward Police urgently investigated and verified the suspects in the area. After screening, Cai Rang Ward Police invited Tran Hong Phat (born 2007, residing in Hung Phu Ward, Can Tho City, a classmate of Ms. H's daughter) to work.
During the investigation, Phat admitted to stealing property twice when he visited Ms. H.'s house. Specifically, the first time on September 26, Phat took advantage of a loophole and entered Ms. H.'s room to steal a bracelet, a pair of earrings, and a bracelet. Phat then sold the bracelet to a gold shop on Highway 61C for 64 million VND; and sold the earrings and a bracelet to MV gold shop on 30/4 Street (Can Tho City) for 21 million VND.
The second time, on October 9, Phat went to Ms. H's house again. Taking advantage of the moment when no one was paying attention, he went upstairs, entered Ms. H's bedroom and stole a pair of earrings, a bracelet and 2 million VND; sold the bracelet to MV gold shop for 36 million VND for personal use... Currently, the police are investigating and handling the case strictly according to the law.
