Deschamps keeps the same squad that defeated Germany to play Portugal
French newspaper L'Équipe believes the starting 11 from the semi-finals will continue to start when Les Bleus compete for the Euro 2016 title today.
According to L'Equipe, coach Didier Deschamps will continue to trust Moussa Sissoko in midfield instead of N'golo Kante.
Sissoko, who plays for Newcastle, was left out of the starting lineup throughout the group stage and the last-16 tie. France then played with a three-man midfield, with Pogba and Matuidi on either side, and Kante on the ball-winning role in the middle.

But in the quarter-finals, Kante was absent due to suspension. Deschamps decided to switch to a 4-2-3-1 system, with Pogba and Matuidi in front of the defense. Sissoko was brought in to play on the right, with Payet on the opposite side and Griezmann from the center supporting striker Giroud.
Sissoko has been impressive in this system, helping France crush Iceland 5-2 in the quarter-finals and then defeat Germany 2-0 in the semi-finals. This is the basis for Deschamps to continue to trust the 26-year-old Newcastle player for today's final against Portugal.
In defense, impressive performances against Iceland and Germany also helped center-back Samuel Umtiti gain Deschamps' trust to continue playing in the starting lineup, playing alongside Koscielny.
Adil Rami, who partnered Koscielny throughout the group stage and round of 16, will have to settle for a place on the bench in the final match.
