Lac Hong University won Robocon 2013
Surpassing the same school opponents, team LH - SEE of Lac Hong University won the Robocon 2013 championship with an absolute victory "Green Planet" in 51 seconds against team: LH-NVN EAGLE also of Lac Hong University.
On the evening of May 12, at Tien Son Sports Palace (Da Nang City), the final night of the Robocon Vietnam 2013 competition took place with the witness of more than 6,000 spectators and supporters at Tien Son Sports Palace (Da Nang City). Before that, 32 teams representing 13 universities and colleges nationwide had5 days of intense competitionto find the 8 best teams to participate in the final night. Overcoming strong opponents, the final match was the winner or loser between two brother teams from Lac Hong University: LH-NVN EAGLE and LH-SEE. Although faster than the other team, LH-NVN EAGLE was unlucky when its "seedling" did not hit the target. Seizing the opportunity, the robot of team LH-SEE won spectacularly by shooting the "seedling" accurately at the "moon disc", winning absolutely (Green planet) in 51 seconds.

Not only winning the first prize, LH-SEE team also won the Creativity prize with a prize of 20 million VND. This is also the 4th consecutive year that Lac Hong University's representative won the national Robocon championship.
This year's national Robocon third prize belongs to team BKD - PTC of Danang University of Technology and team LH-ET* also of Lac Hong University.
In addition to the First, Second and Third prizes, the Organizing Committee also awarded prizes from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Education and Training... such as the Idea Award for the Sao Do - DT2 team of Sao Do University, the Best Manual Robot Award for the DTU - TITAN team of Duy Tan University, the Style Award for the VTEC - RTC team of Vinh Phuc College of Economics and Technology, the Best Automatic Robot Award for the DTU - POLLUX team of Duy Tan University and the Technology Award for the BKD - PTC team of Da Nang University of Technology.
Thus, the champion team LH - SEE and LH NVN EAGLE - the second prize winner of Robocon 2013 nationwide will represent host Vietnam to participate in the Asia - Pacific Robot Competition taking place in Da Nang in August 2013.
This is also the hope of host Vietnam in regaining the Asia-Pacific Robocon championship after 7 years of waiting, since 2006.
At Robocon Techshow held in parallel with Robocon 2013, the Organizing Committee also selected the best technology products and awarded the first prize to the Air-cushioned Boat Robot of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, the second prize to the Automatic Assembly System of Lac Hong University, two products of the Self-propelled Underwater Robot of Sao Do University and the Trash Collecting Robot of the Information Officer School both won the third prize.
