Went crab catching, bitten to death by snake
(Baonghean.vn) - While reaching into a hole in the ground at the edge of a rice field to catch crabs, a young child was unfortunately bitten on the hand by a snake and died after a week of treatment.
On the morning of June 9, the local authorities of Duc Thanh commune - Yen Thanh district (Nghe An) came to encourage and offer condolences to the victim's family.

A week earlier, Nguyen Dang Thang (11 years old), son of Nguyen Dang Loi (32 years old) and Ho Thi Ha (30 years old), residing in Hamlet 10 Duc Lien, Duc Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, while going to the field to catch crabs, was unfortunately bitten by a snake while reaching into a hole in the ground to catch crabs.
Although the family transferred the child to Nghe An General Hospital, then to Hanoi for treatment, the child still did not survive.
