Man dies after being bitten by snake while catching crabs.

(Baonghean.vn) - While reaching into a hole in the soil at the edge of the rice field to catch crabs, a young child was unfortunately bitten on the hand by a snake and died after a week of treatment.

On the morning of June 9th, local authorities from Duc Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district (Nghe An province) visited and offered condolences to the victim's family.

A week earlier, Nguyen Dang Thang (11 years old), son of Nguyen Dang Loi (32 years old) and Ho Thi Ha (30 years old), residing in Hamlet 10, Duc Lien, Duc Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, was out in the fields catching crabs when he reached his hand into a hole in the ground and was unfortunately bitten by a snake.

Despite being transferred to Nghe An General Hospital by the family, and then to Hanoi for treatment, the child did not survive.
