Accordingly, at around 5:45 p.m. on September 8, Mr. Tran Nguyen D (28 years old, residing in Hamlet 12, Phuc Tho Commune, Nghi Loc District, Nghe An) went fishing with a few friends at Khe Go Lake (Nghi Lam Commune, Nghi Loc). Due to the hot weather, Mr. D and his friends jumped into the lake to swim. Unfortunately, Mr. D swam into deep water because he had been scooped up with dirt earlier and slipped.

Seeing Mr. D struggling, his friend swam out to help but it was too late. Mr. D died at that moment.
