Employees will receive a minimum total of 400% of their normal daily salary if they work during the National Day holiday on September 2.

How to calculate salary for employees working on National Day holiday September 2nd based on Labor Code.

Specifically, according to Point d, Clause 1, Article 115 of the 2012 Labor Code, employees who work on holidays are entitled to 100% of their salary.

In addition, according to Point c, Clause 1, Article 97 of the 2012 Labor Code, if an employee works on a holiday, he/she will also receive at least 300% of the salary for that day.

Thus, employees will receive a total of at least 400% of their normal daily salary if they work during the National Day holiday on September 2.

In addition, if employees work overtime on the night of a holiday, they will receive an additional 30% of their normal salary.

However, the above regulation is only the “base” for the lowest salary that employers pay to employees. The Labor Law always encourages employers to pay higher salaries to employees.

Regarding bonuses, according to Clause 1, Article 103 of the 2012 Labor Code, employers base on annual production and business results and the level of work completion of employees to decide on bonuses for employees. The bonus for National Day on September 2nd of employees is not mandatory and is decided by the employer.
