The French capital team repeated the 3-0 victory over their rivals to advance to the semi-finals of the National Cup.

PSG meet Marseille again just three days after the Ligue I match, which saw the capital team win 3-0 but suffered a heavy loss due to Neymar's injury.

In the match at the Parc des Princes, PSG had to wait until the first half's stoppage time to open the scoring. Di Maria's shot from outside the box hit the knee of centre-back Adil Rami and changed direction into the near corner. Earlier, Marseille's defence had made a mistake when defensive midfielder Luiz Gustavo misplaced a pass just outside the box.

The goal that broke the deadlock allowed PSG to play more comfortably and doubled the score shortly after the second half began. Di Maria continued to punish the mistakes of Marseille's defense, this time finishing close to the goal after a situation where center-back Aymen Abdennour missed the ball.

By the end of the match, PSG sealed the score at 3-0 thanks to a goal from Cavani. The Uruguayan striker scored after a beautiful combination that left the Marseille defense completely helpless as the ball went into the net.

Victory over Marseille puts PSG into the Coupe de France semi-finals and on course for a domestic treble, as they are already in the League Cup final against Monaco and lead Ligue I by 14 points.

Di Maria's impressive performance also brought some peace of mind to PSG, who are without Neymar due to a foot injury. The Brazilian star could be out for six to eight weeks, missing the second leg against Real in the Champions League round of 16.
