Wearing the wrong shoes and using a knife to attack someone
Nguyen Truong Son (42 years old) went to a friend's house to play. When he came back, he put on the wrong slippers. Another person made fun of him, so he made an appointment to meet and attacked him with a knife.
On November 15, Nguyen Truong Son was sentenced to 9 years in prison by the People's Court of Da Nang City for the crime ofKilling.
The indictment stated that on the evening of February 18, Son went to the house of Nguyen Duc Huy (37 years old, on Mai Am Street, Hai Chau District) to borrow a motorbike. When leaving, this man wore the wrong pair of sandals, so he called Huy to inform him and arrange to exchange them.

The next afternoon, Son was drinking with his friends when he received a phone call from Huy. While the two were talking, Phan Huu Nhan (38 years old, living in Hai Chau district) interrupted, provoking Son about wearing the wrong shoe. Angry at being insulted by an unrelated person, Son went to Nhan's house to curse, but the person was not home. Nhan knew what happened, so he called and the two challenged each other.
When he saw Huy and Nhan entering his house, Son used a knife he had prepared and stabbed Huy in the stomach. Not stopping there, Son turned to chase Nhan from behind and stabbed him in the armpit.
According to the assessment results, the rate of injury Son caused to Huy was 54% and Nhan was 23%.
