A woman went blind after dyeing her hair and her head swelled three times in size.
The girl went to a beauty salon to dye her hair, then she was blind for 5 days, her head was swollen, 3 times its size.
Instead of dyeing her hair herself, 24-year-old Steph O'Dell left the job to a beauty salon worker, reports British newspaper The Sun.

Since her teens, she has been allergic to the chemical paraphenylenediamine (PPD) - a common ingredient in hair dyes.
Two weeks before the dyeing, the hairdresser tested the girl for an allergic reaction to the dye she was planning to use, and there were no problems. However, one day after dyeing her hair, she started having an allergic reaction.
“It was horrible. I was in pain and looked like an alien. I'm lucky it could have been worse. I'll never dye my hair again,” Ms. O'Dell said.
The girl was taken to the hospital and given antihistamines and eye drops. The doctor said he had never seen such a severe allergic reaction. Five days later, her vision returned.
